This is a free event that is open to the public, everyone is welcome.

The National Mall Facing the capitol

How to get there:
Due to limited parking in and around the mall area we suggest you take the DC Metro to the event there are two stops that are more or less equidistant from the event location:
Either Federal Center SW on the Orange and Blue Lines, or National Archives/Navy Memorial on the Green and Yellow lines.

What to bring:
We will be collecting supplies for the troops; so be sure to bring toiletries, calling cards, and other non perishable goods that you think the troops might like or need when they are not at home.

If you dont know what to bring these are the items most needed by out troops abroad:
sunscreen, talculm powder, t-shirts, calling cards, sunglasses, footballs, soccer balls, playing cards, board games, dried fruit, socks. More...

Other considerations:
June days in DC can be very hot and humid, so be sure to bring plenty of water.
